The New Roots delivery standard

Every session must answer four questions.

Facilitators do more than supervise activities. They hold a respectful container, use nature as teacher, turn experience into meaning, build practical capability, protect professional scope and collect evidence of the intended outcome.

Participant materials

Reconnect journal, reflection prompts and practical activity materials.

Venue requirements

An accessible nature-based space with ablutions, water, shade or shelter, a practical project and a circle area.

Safety and safeguarding

Participant consent, emergency contacts, first aid, weather plan, activity briefing and clear non-clinical facilitation boundaries.
